Monstera adansonii “Fairchild Double Window” is a distinctive collector form of the classic Swiss cheese vine, known for its unusually large and elongated fenestrations. The nickname “Double Window” refers to the striking double rows of leaf openings that develop as the plant matures, creating a dramatic lace-like appearance.
This form is associated with the historic Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden lineage and is prized by collectors for its elegant leaf structure and vigorous climbing growth. When grown with vertical support such as a moss pole, the leaves enlarge and the fenestrations become more pronounced.
Its graceful vining habit and dramatic foliage make it an excellent choice for trellises, moss poles, and hanging displays.
