Monstera obliqua ‘Peru’ is one of the rarest and most sought-after collector aroids, known for its extremely delicate leaves and dramatic fenestrations. The foliage develops large, irregular openings that often dominate the leaf surface, creating a lace-like, skeletal appearance.
Unlike more common Monstera species, obliqua produces very thin, lightweight leaves with minimal tissue between fenestrations, making it a true collector’s plant. As it matures and climbs with proper support, the leaves become more perforated and visually striking.
Highly prized for its rarity and unique structure, this species requires attentive care and stable conditions to thrive.
