Philodendron atabapoense is a rare and elegant climbing species known for its long, narrow leaves and striking color contrast. The foliage features deep green upper surfaces with rich burgundy to reddish undersides, giving the plant a refined and dramatic appearance.

As it matures and climbs, the leaves become longer and more elongated, creating a flowing, architectural look. When grown on a moss pole or totem, it develops larger foliage and a stronger vertical presence.

Native to regions along the Atabapo River in South America, this species thrives in warm, humid environments and is highly prized by collectors for its sleek form and contrasting coloration.

Basic Care
Light: Bright, indirect light preferred; avoid harsh direct sun.

Temperature: Ideal 65–85 °F; protect from cold drafts.
Fertilizer: Feed every 2–4 weeks during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer.
